2 months to find my soulmate!
I was on here for about two months before I found my now fiancée! We met last year on the 28th of June, and I have gained an awesome stepson out of it too, it was like a package deal!
He is so much what I have been looking for and can hardly believe how close we have been to each other the whole time… We lived in the same areas for years; he was always driving his mate to one of my girl’s places, he used to fish where I used to, we went to the same Sunday session at the local pub!
I just am so glad we have finally met and nothing will ever brake us apart, we are a very strong couple! Thanks Oasis for bringing us together!
9 Months And Counting
Me and my now long-term boyfriend met on Oasis last year. I had never used a dating site before in my life, and truthfully joined Oasis because it was free and I was curious.
After 2 weeks of no real interest, I got a message from 'MG' and after a month of constant messaging we met for the first time. We became officially boyfriend and girlfriend almost immediately on meeting each other- it only established the feelings I already had.
9 months later and we are happier than ever. He's moving down to live with me and our relationship couldn't be better.
Thank you Oasis for helping me find the love of my life.
3 years later, just as happy!
Meet my soul mate thanks to Oasis and now been tighter for 3 years we have had problems in the past but he is still the love of my life.
I met my soul mate
At first I was nervous about joining Oasis and meeting someone I could spend the rest of my life with but I gave it a go and shrugged off my fears, I was talking to some really nice guys but one in particular caught my eye and won my heart.
He said he worked in a musical instrument shop, I had also worked in my own music shop, one day he text me a message stating that he almost sold a twin neck Ovation Guitar, I thought to myself that this would be the best way to actually meet him face to face!
He had given me the name of the shop in previous conversations with him, so I went to the Music shop, walked up to him and stated I am looking for a twin neck Ovation, he smiled at me and went bright red!
We talked for around an hour and he invited me over to his place that night, we have been together ever since, a perfect match with many things in common, thanks to Oasis.
Now Engaged!
I have not had much hope with finding relationships due to my shyness so I thought would try dating sites, though very doubtful it would help, in fact it actually embarrassed me in case someone saw my picture.
Either way, I created a profile and then sent a message every couple of days to people, with no replies. I did manage after time to create a few conversations with people, though these were clearly just going to remain friends.
Then in September I got a message from a girl who lived quite close, and we began to chat, leading to us exchanging numbers and talking over the phone. She was very open with me and I found her easy to get along with, it helped how open and honest she was as I believed I could trust her.
After a very short time she asked if we could meet at a local pub restaurant which I agreed, though very nervously considering I thought she looked stunning and I had low self-esteem. After a week of panicking the night finally arrived and I meet up with her, Instantly shocked about how much more beautiful she looked in real life then in her pictures, which worried me a bit as well, though she didn’t run away ^_^. We sat down, had a few drinks and started talking about each other’s life’s, and again I was pleasantly shocked about how open she was.
We had a wonderful night and even had a walk around town, going to a few clubs and arcades, ending with us both smiling and wanting to see each other again. It wasn’t long until we regularly met up and became a steady couple, we never argued and we also got along. I understood her and she accepted me, which even now I count my blessings.
The months passed, birthdays and holidays and our relationship got better and better to the point where I finally got down on one knee, and got a yes reply!
Life is amazing with her and I love her to bits, and it’s all Thanks to this site. I didn’t think it would work, I was afraid to admit I was even using it, yet in the end if I can find someone on here, anyone can.
